For the erection of LED floodlighting mounted on 4 No. columns to the existing all-weather pitch with all associated site works

The proposed works will consist of 1) the construction of a single storey extension (521 sqm), comprising 2no. SEN classroom bases, 2no. quiet space rooms associated with the SEN bases, a central activities space, daily living skills room, multi-activity room, an office, pupil toilets with shower area, staff toilets, storage rooms, circulation areas, including a new link to the existing school building containing internal steps and platform lift; 2) modification works to an existing flat roof link including reroofing and elevational alterations; 3) demolition of an existing mainstream classroom to facilitate the proposed extension; 4) internal reconfiguration of the existing school building to accommodate the displaced mainstream classroom, modifications will including rear elevational changes and the addition of 2no. roof lights for new classroom toilets; 5) alteration to the existing front boundary wall, entailing partial demolition and removal of pedestrian access gates, relocation of existing mesh panel fencing and vehicular access gates; 6) construction of a new front boundary wall with new pedestrian access gates, raise the retained section of front boundary wall and installing new vehicular access gates; 7) alteration of the existing roadside parking area to accommodate 6no. additional parking spaces including accessible parking bays and electric vehicle charging points; 8) the provision of a new footpath between parking spaces and the front boundary wall; 9) alterations to northern boundary treatment; 10) the construction of mesh panel fencing enclosures for the sensory garden, secure play areas associated with the SEN bases, replacement basketball court, and extended all-weather pitch; 11) works to redirect a section of the existing public storm water sewer traversing the site; 12) and the installation of a new bicycle shelter.
