The works include connection to N19 for site access via currently approved Planning ref 23-96, the provision of 48No. carparking spaces which include accessible spaces, EV charging areas, set-down area, secure bicycle parking spaces, louvred plant/refuse store, photovoltaic array, reconfiguration of airside/landside boundaries, building signage and a single storey substation/switchroom with all ancillary landscaping and associated site works & services including rising main with installation of a new pumping station to facilitate connection to existing airport infrastructure. The planning application is accompanied by a Natura Impact Statement

At a site of 0.17ha at Shannon Airport, Shannon, Co Clare. The application for Planning permission consists of the demolition/removal of existing accommodation structure (c. 60 sq m), and construction of a one-storey structure located between the existing Search and Rescue (SAR) Hangars 3 and 4. The structure will be c. 374 sq m, c. 4.2 m in height, and will comprise SAR on-shift accommodation with ancillary facilities including bedrooms, kitchen, operations room, changing rooms, and storerooms. For an extension of an existing car park at Shannon Airport, Rineanna South, Shannon, Co Clare. The proposed development will consist of the extension of an existing car park providing an additional 1051 parking spaces including a dedicated surface water drainage network, the re-alignment of airside /landside boundary security fence, the re-alignment of the internal perimeter road located airside, the relocation of the access to the wastewater treatment plant for maintenance purposes, the demolition of 10 industrial units and all ancillary associated site works. We note the protected structure NIAH reference 20406201 is located nearby to the proposed works and a Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared and will be submitted to the Planning Authority with the Planning Application.

For the installation of a Fire and Rescue Training unit for the purpose of training fire fighting personnel. Also included in the development shall be a water network, controlled/initiated gas, drainage network, concrete hardstanding areas and all other associated site works.

Clare, which will consist of the following: 1. Removal of all current signage on the exterior of both buildings. 2. Erection of 1 no. signage (5.89m x 2.745m) on the southeast elevation of the Shannon College of Hotel Management Food and Beverage Building. 3.Erection of 1 no. signage (14.505m x 1.86m) on the northeast elevation of the Shannon College of Hotel Management Trust Building. 4. Erection of 1 no signage (5.925m x 2.87m) on the southeast elevation of the Shannon College of Hotel Management Trust Building.

For development of a 110m2 extension to the southeast corner of the existing hangar building to facilitate G700 aircraft, including all associated site works

The works include a new site access and the provision of 42 no carparking spaces which include accessible spaces, secure bicycle parking spaces, louvred plant/refuse store, photovoltaic array, building signage and a single storey substation. The construction of new hard surfaced ancillary delivery/service yard with vehicular and HGV parking all ancillary landscaping and associated site works and services including the decommission of adjacent septic tank and installation of a new pumping station to facilitate connection to existing airport infrastructure. For the addition of an air handling unit platform and containment enclosure together with the extension of an existing stair core to roof level to provide permanent access for maintenance including all associated site works and services

The development will consist of the construction of a single storey discount foodstore (to include off licence use) with a gross floor area 1,837 sq.m. (net retail area 1,336) and a 2 storey café /restaurant (c.350sq.m) with terrace fronting onto the Airport Road. The development includes the erection of 1 no. free standing double sided internally illuminated totem sign, 5 no. internally illuminated gable signs (all elevations), 1 no. internally illuminated, free standing entrance sign and 1 no. entrance glass sign. The proposed development will be served by 106 no. car parking spaces (including 5 disabled spaces and 2 electric vehicle spaces). Vehicular/pedestrian access to the site will be provided from a new distributor and internal road layout served by a new entrance from the R471. The proposed development includes the construction of a single storey ESB Substation, lighting, all landscaping (including boundary treatment), relocation of bus shelter (on Airport Road), and site development and drainage works on a site of c.1.04 hectares

For alterations to the existing south west elevation and works to the existing roof at Building 2, Block K, Airport Avenue, Shannon Free Zone, Shannon, County Clare. The works to the façade include the addition of fresh air intake louvres, alterations to the existing roller shutter doors and the addition of an external canopy. The works to the roof include the provision of additional roof cowls and access hatches

The development consists of the alterations to the previously granted permissions (Planning Ref: P20/478 & P20/416) comprising of revisions including, the relocation of the external enclosed yard from an East/West orientation to a North/South orientation, relocating louvres to the elevations to suit servicing requirements, amending the roof layout & positions of roof cowls and several internal layout amendments to the PMU Warehouse area of the plan. Note: there is no increase in floor area, the mezzanine grid floor supports additional plant only. For refurbishment works to existing coastal defence embankments at Shannon Airport, Shannon, Rineanna South, Co Clare. The proposed works include different combinations of armouring, top-soiling and grassing along the embankments. A Natura Impact Statement has been prepared and is included in the application. An Environmental Impact Assessment screening report has been prepared and is included in the application. It concluded that an Environmental Impact Assessment is not required
