For an amendment to previously granted planning permission (application no. 23/60192), in order to construct 36 no. housing accommodation units which may accommodate elderly / assisted living at Hebron Industrial Estate, Road 1, Leggetsrath West, Co. Kilkenny. The development, as amended, will consist of - a) The clearance of the 0.65 hectare site b) The construction of 24 no 2-bed apartment units and 12 no. 1-bed units in 2 and 3 storey blocks with a central landscaped courtyard, c) The extension and modification of existing shared carparking area and the provision of carparking dedicated to proposed housing units, d) The construction of communal bin storage facilities and bicycle parking areas, e) The utilization of existing primary access from Hebron Industrial Estate, Road 1, as permitted under planning application numbers 08/859 (A.B.P ref. PL10.232618) & 10/101, f) Site boundary treatments and all associated site development works. The proposed development is a change of plans to permitted development granted under planning application no. 23/60192, which consisted of permission to construct 30 no. housing accommodation units (24 no 2-bed maisonette units and 6 no. 3-bed duplex apartment units) and will result in the change of 6 no 3-bed duplexes to 12 no. 1-bed apartments.Decision record indexedDecision10 July 2025View record
