Permission for change of use of Unit 634 from 'warehouse/logistics use' as permitted under Reg. Ref. FW20A/0169, to a facility for (i) the assessment, disassembly, processing, storage and repair of customer owned information technology equipment, and (ii) for onsite shredding of certain electrical and electronic equipment and components that, following onsite assessment, are identified as not being suitable for re-use or re-sale, together with all associated internal fitout works; The associated development/works required to facilitate the proposed change of use comprise amendments to Unit 634, as permitted under Reg. Ref. FW20A/0169, including: Internal reconfiguration at Ground Floor Level to provide for staff welfare/operational facilities/production area Provision of an additional 1,769m2 of gross floor area at first floor level comprising of office accommodation and storage. Alterations to facade treatment. Repositioning of permitted Fire Exit doors and inclusion of additional Fire Exit Doors. Stair core AOV's added to facade. Stair cores 1 & 2 extended vertically by one floor to access open plant area at second floor/roof level. Stair core 3 added to provide means of escape from first floor level. Roof ridge and valley gutters rotated by 90 degrees. 17 no. additional car parking spaces provided and the relocation of 20 no. permitted bicycle parking spaces. Alterations to site entrances and boundary treatment. Provision of paladin fence to enclose backup generator plinth. Alterations to the permitted ESB substation/switchroom including an increase in GFA of 27 sq.m. The proposal also includes development/works within the curtilage of Unit 633, which was constructed under Reg. Ref.: FW17A/0049, as amended by Reg. RE.:FW20A/0020 and Reg. Ref.:FW20A/0139, and the curtilage of Unit 634, including the following: Removal of boundary treatment and amalgamation of the yards of Unit 633 and Unit 634. Provision of Link Corridor between Unit 633 and Unit 634. Provision of CCTV posts. And all associated development.
