2891/19: Planning permission for revisions to a previously permitted development at Blocks B and C, Milner's Square (the site of the former engineering works), Shanowen Road, Santry, Dublin 9. The site is bounded to the north by Shanowen Road, to the east by the existing Milner's Square residential development (Blocks E and F) and to the west by Shanowen Business Park. The proposed development will consist of amendments to previously permitted residential development, granted under Reg. Ref. 6058/04; ABP Ref. PL29N.211692 (as extended by Reg. Ref. 6058/04/X1, 6058/04/X2 and 6058/04/X3) and as previously revised by Reg. Ref. 4128/18, Reg. Ref. 4360/17 and 4608/17. The proposed revisions relate to previously permitted Blocks B and C (currently under construction) and will comprise of the following: (1) Block B - Modifications to the previously permitted fourth floor of Block B and the provision of a new fifth, sixth and seventh floor to now comprise an 8-storey apartment block (7 storeys with set back penthouse level) over basement level car park, comprising a total of 65 no. residential units (46 no. previously permitted under Reg. Ref. 4128/18) consisting of 22 no. 1-bedroom units, 40 no. 2-bedroom units and 3 no. 3-bedroom units with balconies/terraces to all elevations; (2) Block C - Modifications to the previously permitted Block C including a new fifth and sixth floor to now comprise a 7-storey apartment block over basement level car park, comprising a total of 53 no. residential units (31 no. previously permitted under Reg. Ref. 4608/17) consisting of 16 no. 1-bedroom units and 37 no. 2-bedrom units with balconies/terraces to all elevations. The proposed amendments will provide a total of 118 no. apartments within Blocks B and C (77 no. units previously permitted) and a total of 188 no. apartments within Phase 2 of the Milner's Square development; (3) The proposed development will also consist of all associated internal and external modifications to the previously permitted blocks to facilitate this development; and all associated engineering and site development works necessary to facilitate the development.
