The building will be surrounded by a compound road and contained within a 2.6m high galvanised steel palisade fence; c) A 220kV underground cable to the existing adjoining Eirgrid substation boundary; d) Associated elements comprising a clear span bridge over the River Mayne, various underground cables and ducts, equipment plinths, boundary security fence, compound lighting and palisade gates and fencing, security lighting, CCTV, internal access roads, hardstanding areas and all necessary foundations works for the above compounds. A concurrent planning application is being made to Dublin City Council which relates to a portion of lands to the south of the site of c. 0.94 ha which provides for a new access entrance from the R139 and a clear span bridge crossing over the River Mayne, internal access tracks, security fencing, temporary construction compound, landscaping, and drainage. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) will be submitted to the Planning Authority with the application. The NIS may be inspected, or purchased at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy, at the offices of the Planning Authority during its public opening hours.
