FW21A/0119: The proposed development will consist of an extension to the existing access road as previously permitted under Reg. Ref. FW19A/0226. Provision is also made for a roundabout junction at the eastern end of the new road. The planning application area is c. 1.8 hectares. The development includes for pedestrian footpath and cycle-path links from the existing road; provision of all associated trunk utility services shall be provided to serve the adjacent development lands to include surface water drainage infrastructure, foul water drainage infrastructure, watermains, public lighting and associated ancillary works. The proposed development also includes for a single storey security booth (c.22.9m² and a max height of 3.6m); associated security barriers; and 4 no. parking spaces (1 no. being a disabled parking bay). This infrastructure may be removed prior to or upon the road being taking in charge by Fingal County Council. The new section of the road will provide access to existing lands zoned as Heavy Industry (HI) in the current Fingal County Development Plan 2017-2023. The H1 zoned lands which the new access road will service, will be the subject of separate planning applications for development(s) at future dates.
