The amended footpath layout will involve the construction of c.46 metres of public footpath adjacent to the southern kerb to the access road immediately south of the IBIS Hotel. The footpath will be constructed between a point c.23m north of the junction of the permitted footpath with Monastery Road, to a point on Monastery Road c.3m west of the existing hammerhead on the access road immediately south of the IBIS Hotel. It is also proposed to create a new opening in the existing boundary wall to enable access to existing bus stop on Monastery Road.
