Permission is now sought for the following; optimized solar pv panel configuration to comprise of up to 33,203 m2 of solar panels on ground mounted frames; increase to the length of the 20 kV substation from 9.98m to 11.975m to allow installation of required electrical equipment; increase in height to the permitted solar panels from 2.72 m to 2.82m and; permission to increase the operational period of the solar farm from 30 years to 35 years. The site is located in the townlands of Ballynagrana and Deerparklodge, Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) accompanies this application.
