A Protected Structure - the development will consist of a single storey, double-height pitched roof extension to the rear of the existing property, to provide for new living and dining spaces, with an attached single-storey, flat-roofed kitchen; ameliorative structural, technical and enviromental works to the existing basement; the insertion of a new internal staircase between basement and ground floor; the lowering of 2 no. window cills to provide for doorways in the existing structure; the construction of a new external set of steps to provide ground floor access; and associated hard landscaping and terracing to the side and rear of the existing house and proposed extension.

To (1) renovate and convert an existing outbuilding into a self-catering unit for own use as a 'granny flat', and (2) to construct a new garden shed, together with all associated site works at Main Street, Borris. The building is within the curtilage of protected structure (RPS Number: 10400818) and is in an Architectural Conservation Area
