The proposal will modify part of an existing consent, 16/5011 for data centre development, modifying that part and also superseding an existing consent for office development under 07/12475. Extension of Duration to Permission granted under Planning Ref. No. 17/6980.

The proposed development includes 1 no. data centre building with ancillary offices, car parking, waste compound, generators, landscaping, lighting, provision of an access off the R623, the provision of back-up accesses connecting the proposal to the data centre development permitted under 17/5895 and associated boundary alterations and all ancillary site works. The proposal will modify part of an existing consent, 16/5011 for data centre development, modifying that part and also superseding an existing consent for office development under 07/12475.

Development at the site of the permitted, not yet constructed, 110kV substation on the former Mitsui Denman site consisting of modifications to the 110kV substation permitted by Cork County Council under Pl.Reg.No. 16/5606, as extended under Pl.Reg.No. 21/5225. The proposed modifications will consist of: (1) an increase in the floor area of the permitted two-storey Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) 110/20kV substation building (Building A) from c.236.34m2 to c.1,291m2, as well as an increase in height from c.10.4m to c.15m; (b) 1 no. additional single-storey 20 kV switch room and protection building (Building C) (c.151m2); (c) an increase in site area from c.06ha to 0.9249ha: (d) all associated site works including 1 no. additional lighting rod (c.12.5m in height), revisions to 2.4m high palisade security fencing, a new sliding gate, a kiosk on a concrete plinth, and the realignment of the 2 no. 110kV underground cable ducts between the proposed substation and the existing EirGrid 110kV substation to the north.

The development of an 110kV substation at the former Mitsui Denman site. The proposed substation will comprise of: a two-storey Gas Insulated Switcher (GIS) 110/20kV substation building, an associated single storey Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) 20kV substation building, associated outdoor electrical equipment, including filter banks, transformers, cable sealing ends and surge arresters, two number lightning protection masts (12.5 metres in height), associated internal access road, boundary treatment including substation perimeter fencing and all ancillary site development works. Construction of two number 110kV underground cable ducts between the proposed substation and the existing Eirgrid 110kV substation to the North in Wallingstown. The site area of the proposed substation is approximately 0.60ha. The proposed substation is to support development in the Wallingstown area in Little Island. - Extension of duration of permission granted under planning reference: 16/5606.

The construction of a single-storey 10/20kV ESB substation and all associated site development works.

Data centre development on a site formerly occupied by Mitsui Denman. The proposed development provides for the construction of 3 no. data centre buildings as one development or in phases. The proposal will modify an existing consent for 3 no. office buildings and access infrastructure at the site consented under 07/12475, as extended under 15/5450, so that one permitted office building is omitted and the permitted access off the R623 is also omitted in favour of a priority junction at the R623 with the permitted remaining offices accessed off the proposed internal access road. The proposed development also includes demolition of existing structures, ancillary services and site works, connections to permitted infrastructure, landscaping and associated boundary treatments, provision of ancillary structures including 3 no. security buildings, 3 no. waste compounds, a utility building, water tank and fencing, ground works with associated localised level changes and car parking.- Extension of duration of permission granted under planning reference: 16/5011.
