Permission to erect photovoltaic panels on a ground mounted system. The development will comprise of a 5.00 MWp solar PV farm on 6.61 hectares of land located to the south of the existing Dairygold Co-Operative Castlefarm processing facility. The electricity generated will be used by the Dairygold site, which currently operates under an industrial emissions licence reg no. P0404-02. The development will comprise of photovoltaic panels with ground mounted frames together with all ancillary cabling and electrical infrastructure; 1 no. transformer cabin; using all temporary ways and temporary construction compound/ set-down area included on the application.

(1) Demolition of existing and disused concrete silage slabs and walls and hardstanding area, (2) construction of an extension to the northeast elevation of the existing security building, modifications to the road layout, footpaths, drainage and site perimeter fencing in the vicinity of the security building including the relocation of 1 No. weighbridge, (3) demolition of existing maintenance workshop, portacabin offices and existing “cottage” office building, (4) demolition of disused storage building, loading bays and plinth adjacent to main production facility, (5) construction of new staff and visitor car-parking area and modifications to existing yards and approach roads to include dedicated car and HGV routes within the site, (6) construction of a new two-storey extension to the west and south elevations of the existing reception / administration building comprising of new reception area and offices, (7) material alterations to the existing reception/administration area comprising of alterations to the internal floor layouts to incorporate staff toilets, locker rooms, changing facilities, additional offices and elevational changes to incorporate revised window and door size and locations associated with the revised layout, (8) change of use from industrial use (redundant production area) to canteen/office use for part of the ground floor area (immediately adjacent to the existing reception/administration area), (9) construction of a new first floor mezzanine area within the existing building (immediately adjacent to the existing reception/administration area) for office use, (10) all associated works required to integrate the proposed works with the existing facilities at the Castlefarm site. This application relates to a development which comprises of an activity requiring an Industrial Emissions license (Reg. No. P0404-02)

An extension (4364m2) to the existing Butter Processing Facility (6146m2) for the manufacture, packaging and distribution of Butter products permitted by Cork County Council planning application references 145908 & 196855. The proposal will comprise: extensions adjoining the main building ranging from c.9.35m to 18.85m in height consisting of; c.330m2 of office/ancillary accommodation arranged over two storeys, c.1,219m2 of ground floor production space, with c. 331m2 of first floor / mezzanine production space, c.1,987m2 of single storey storage/distribution space, enclosed plant space c.118m2 with open plant area above of c. 7m in height and a single storey liquid ingredients intake building extension c.68m2 with open plant area above of c. 9.5m in height. 7 no. new liquid storage silos of c.15 m in height with associated access platforms. A new single storey maintenance store c. 103m2 of c.5.5m in height. A new enclosure for existing wastewater pre-treatment equipment c.112m2 of c. 4.0m in height. A new enclosure to the existing process water storage tank of c.96m2 of c. 5.5m in height. Relocation of existing liquid storage unit. Existing external signage relocated on western elevation. 36 no. new car parking spaces in a new parking area containing 72 space of which 36 are displaced by the proposed extension, 17 no. new bicycle parking spaces, 4 no. new motorcycle parking spaces. Landscaping, hardstandings, underground services and ancillary works. All on site area of 2.62 Ha. All access to and from the site will remain by way of the existing access road to Castlefarm from the N73 (Kildorrery) roundabout. The application relates to a development which is located on a site which operates under Industrial Emissions License P0404-02. The environmental Impact Assessment Report and Natura Impact Statement will be submitted to the Planning Authority with the application.

A single storey extension to an existing butter processing facility for the manufacture, packaging, and distribution of butter products. The extension will adjoin the existing main building and consist of c.212m2 of single storey production space in a building of c.7.0m in height, 20 no. additional outdoor car parking spaces off the existing access road and will include landscaping, underground services and ancillary works. All access to and from the site will remain by way of the existing access road to Castlefarm from the N73 (Kildorrery) roundabout. The proposed development will be located on a site on which industrial Emissions License P0 404-02 currently operates.

Permission for the construction of a new Biomass Plant for the generation of steam as part of the decarbonisation road map for the business. The development will consist of the construction of a single storey woodchip boiler building (1120m2) with a parapet height of 16.237mabove ground level and a maximum stack height of 24.735m above ground level, the construction of an extension to the existing yard and associated site works. This application relates to an establishment which has an industrial emissions licence (P0404-02)

The replacement of approximately 36m of existing 2.4m high chainlink fencing and associated gates with 36m of new 2.4m high green palisade security fencing/gates and all associated works at an existing Above Ground Natural Gas Installation
