Permission for construction of an expansion to the existing waste water treatment plant, that includes a) three number buildings consisting of i) a single storey precipitation building (8.6m high) that including an open storage area, ii) single storey electrical building (5.4m high), iii) two storey filter press building (9.6m high), b) process vessels and associated access stairs and platforms, c) structural steel service racking, d) Underground services, drainage and other associated siteworks. The proposed development is covered by an existing industrial emissions (IE) licence no. P0009-05. The development refers to a modification to an establishment to which a major accident regulation applies.

The development will consist of the provision of a single-storey building extension (gross floor area of approx. 172sqm and building height of approx. 6.6m) to an existing electrical load centre building (LC7) and associated site development works. The development will be located on a site that currently operates under an Industrial Emissions (IE) Licence (P0009-04) under Part IV of the Environmental Protection Agency Act 1992 ( as amended for the Protection of the Environment Act 2003). The site comprises of an establishment to which the Chemicals Act (Control of Major Accident Hazards Involving Dangerous Substances ) Regulations 2015 (S.I.209 of 2015) applies.

Permission to: a) Construct a new service/plant cabin, all associated site and structural works, b) Demolish an existing service/plant cabin and demolish existing associated structural works, all within their existing manufacturing facility. The proposed development is covered by an existing Industrial Emissions (IE) License no. P0009-05. The development refers to modifications to an establishment to which the Major Accidents Regulations apply.

Expansion of the existing 6,000cu.m Firewater Retention Pond to provide a total capacity of 11,000cu.m with alterations to the existing pond as well as the construction of an extended pond area with associated site works which includes reshaping of existing berms, construction of new berms, alteration to access path on berms, site drainage layout (local to pond area) and reinstatement of site landscaping. The site currently operates under an Industrial Emissions (IE) Licence (P0009-04) under Part IV of the Environmental Protection Agency Act 1992 (as amended for the Protection of the Environment Act, 2003).
