The proposed development will consist of the provision of infrastructure to facilitate the charging of electrical busses for Dublin Airport, as follows: Site A (Atrium Rd 1): The development will consist of (1) the installation of 4No. Pantograph Electrical Bus Charger Units, each with 3No. associated power cabinets on Atrium Rd 1; (2) the upgrade of the existing substation 7 which is located internally within the T1 Multistorey Car Park (MSCP) and an upgrade of the existing underground power cable between existing substation 6 and existing substation 7; (3) ducting from the upgraded electrical substation #7 to the proposed pantograph units for both power and comms supply; (4) new paint markings within the existing bus laybys on Atrium Rd 1; and (5) all other associated site development works, including relocation of 2no. existing bus shelters on Atrium Rd 1 and minor internal demolition works within Terminal 1 MSCP.
