The proposed development will include the continuation of use of the existing North Runway contractor compound (including existing office cabins, vehicle workshop, security gatehouse, soil mounding and foul sewer tank) along with a number of amendments and additions to the existing facility to provide a consolidated 'West Compound' for airside development contractors. The amendments and additions to the existing facility include: reduced car parking (150 no. spaces), new truck parking (25 no. spaces) and trailer set down area, new bus stop, cycle parking provision, a new hardstanding area for skip set down, new streetlighting and electrical switchroom. The proposal includes all associated ancillary development, site works and services including underground attenuation system.
