Site planning risk brief

Provide for the upgrade of the Ballyroan Wastewater Treatment Plant and will comprise of the following: Installation of an additional new Sequence Batch Reactor (SBR) wastewater treatment stream complete with flow splitter chamber, air blowers, sludge wasting pumps and effluent pipework; Installation of a new above ground storm water holding tank complete with internal cleaning system, flow return system and associated access stairs and platform; Installation of a new above ground sludge holding tank complete with internal decant system and associated access stairs and platform; Installation of tertiary filter; Installation of wash water pumping station; Installation of a GRP kiosk to house electrical control panel and all ancillary site works. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared in respect of the proposed development.

Upgrade the existing wastewater treatment plant to a capacity of 900 PE incorporating: selector tank, twin aeration tanks, three final settlement tanks, flow splitting chambers, sludge return and wastage pumps, air blowers, sludge storage tank, interconnecting pipework and ducting, welfare facilities and internal access road extensions. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared in respect of the proposed development and will be submitted to the planning authority with the planning application

Construct a cubicle shed over exiting silage slab and slatted tanks with loose straw area, calf shed with dung stead, walled silage slab, slatted loose shed over existing slatted tank, collecting yard extension and all associated site works

Construct a new dwelling, domestic garage, waste water treatment system with polishing filter, new bored well and new site entrance

Construct a new dwelling house, domestic garage, waste-water treatment system with polishing filter, bored well and new site entrance

A. make amendments to site boundary previously granted under planning reference 18/72 and 23/226. b. make adjustments to the proposed housing layout along the northern boundary, by replacing one semi-detached dwelling (Type 2) and one detached dwelling (Type 3) with a new terraced unit (3 dwellings) (Type 4). c. Increase in the floor area of the proposed dwellings (Types 2 and 3) from 125m² to 132m². d. make alterations to the Road Layout to accommodate the revised house positioning and relocation of previously approved attenuation tank. e. and all associated site development works.
