The construction of the following: (a) 4no. semi-detached two-storey dwellings, (b) 1 block of 3no. terraced townhouse type dwellings & a semi-detached single-storey dwelling, (c) 1no. detached single-storey dwelling (d) 1no. two-storey block with 2no. apartments & (e) new entrance, parking, connection to mains water, public sewer & stormwater and all associated site development works

Change of use of existing dwelling house at Fenagh Road/Ballykealy Lane, Ballon, Co Carlow, R93 FX93 from residential use to community centre use. The development comprises the demolition of a single storey 6.2m2 boiler room, the reconfiguration of the existing rooms to provide meeting rooms, office, toilet and canteen, and construction of a single storey extension of 37m2 to provide a multi-function community room, accessible shower room, and ramped access to the rear. Site works comprise the provision of (a) 46 car parking spaces including 2 disability access spaces, 7 electric vehicle charging points, and 22 bicycle spaces; (b) relocation of the vehicle entrance on Fenagh Road/Ballykealy Lane with a new pedestrian access point; and (c) new boundary treatment along the perimeter of the site and associated site works and services.

Planning permission is sought for the construction of a proposed two storey extension to the front of an existing two storey childcare building. This building is located to the rear (and within the grounds of) protected structure CW 110 (Old National School, Ballon). The extension shall comprise of the following: extended canteen/storage area to ground floor, extended out of school area to first floor, stairs to same, elevated walkway to rear, minor internal alterations and all associated works.

The demolition of existing portacabin structure housing a childcare facility and the construction of a new replacement single storey building (on an enlarged footprint). This building is located to the side of protected structure CW 110 (Old National School Ballon). The building shall comprise of playgroup areas with associated wc's changing, sleeping room and all associated works

2no. 2 bed two storey semi detached dwellings adjacent to existing housing development under construction and associated site works. Additionally permission is sought for the relocation of 2no. 3 bed semi detached dwellings being a revision to previously granted permission 16384

Change of use of credit union building to residential dwelling. Permission is also sought for alterations to all external elevations of the existing building, which include all windows and materials to front façade from brick to part stone and nap plaster finish. Permission is also sought for the construction of stone boundary walls to the south (1.2m high) of the site and 1.6m high block boundary to the west of the site. Permission is also sought to close the existing commercial side (southwest) entrance and to install a new domestic entrance to the front (southeast) boundary onto the public roadway with entrance gates and all associated site works. This structure falls within the curtilage of a protected structure (CW110).
