The addition of a mobility impaired access structure (MIAS) that will be within the curtilage of Protected Structures (RPS Reference Nos.: 454, 476, 481, 482, 483, 484, 485 and 487, NIAH Survey Data Reg Nos.: 13004129, 13004044, 13004150, 13004046, 13008005, 13008006, 13008008 and 13004152). The structure is a hybrid assembly of different concrete and steel elements including a pair of staircases (two flights each), free standing lift shafts, support portals and a walkway. Associated works include relocation of 14 no. car parking bays and 1 no. EV charging point and ancillary works

Proposed demolition of an existing single-storey portacabin office and the construction of a new permanent structure to serve as office accommodation, along with all associated ancillary site works

Retention is sought to West of Main School for change of use from industrial/commercial to educational use; internal alterations over 2 floors (total floor area 716.9sqm) and minor alterations to side and rear elevation (facing Convent Road) and ancillary works at former Turners Print Works site, Convent Road & Earl Street. Permission is also sought to extend duration of temporary permission, granted ref 11700021 (ABP ref PL68.239942), for first floor 2 classroom extension for further ten year period at North side of main school building at Mean Scoil Mhuire, Convent Road on behalf of Board of Management at Mean Scoil Mhuire (a protected structure)

Will consist of a) relocation of gas tanks, demolition of existing toilets and construction of a new single-storey extension comprising two classroom special needs unit with central activity space, multisensory room, office, storage, toilets and other related SNU accommodation, one mainstream classroom, two set rooms replacement toilets and link corridor with associated site development works. b) new onsite SNU set down area to the front, accessed from the Dublin Road through two new roller gates, raised pedestrian crossings, and appropriate road signage to Dublin Road. c) alterations to the layout of existing staff carpark to the rear, with new gas tanks compound, line marking with two accessible parking spaces. d) replacing existing grass areas, with two new hard play areas, to the north-west of the existing school buildings
