PROTECTED STRUCTURE: PERMISSION & RETENTION: For retention of the existing landing area and planning permission for extension of same at the front elevation of The Swan Bar, corner of Aungier Street and 57/58 York Street, Dublin 2, D02 RW67 (Protected Structure -Ref 8665). PROTECTED STRUCTURE: For an amendment permission to the permitted Hotel accommodation, bar/restaurant and retail/café development granted under DCC Reg. Ref. 4170/18 (ABP Ref. ABP-303453-19) at Nos. 22, 23 (incorporating 23A), and 24 Aungier Street (Protected Structures) and No. 40 Bow Lane East, Dublin 2 on a site measuring 665 sq m. PROTECTED STRUCTURE:Permission consequent on the grant of permission (Ref. No. 2942/16) as previously amended under grant of permission (Ref. No. 4295/18) at the site of a Protected Structure. The proposed amendments will consist of: The addition of a two level extension to the permitted development facing Montague Lane, bringing the overall height of the development from three levels to five levels at the rear. The penthouse extension level is setback on the northern and western boundaries. Amendments to the WC provision are also proposed. The proposed increase in gross internal area is 598msq.

This structure will be 783sqm in area and will accommodate an auditorium space at basement level, service use at ground floor and office and administration uses on the upper floors. 5. The creation of a new glazed roof four storey atrium link space of 64sqm in floor area between the rear facade of the existing main building and the proposed new structure at the rear. 6. PROTECTED STRUCTURE: We, O’Callaghan Collection, intend to apply for permission for development at this site, The Green Hotel at Nos. 1-5 Harcourt Street and Cuffe Street, Dublin 2, D02 WR80. The site includes two Protected Structures (RPS Ref. Nos 3515 & 3516). The proposed development involves internal and external modifications to the existing hotel, including alterations and refurbishment works to the Protected Structures (Nos. 3-4 Harcourt Street), and an extension to the main hotel building on Cuffe Street, to provide 22 additional hotel bedrooms, new and enhanced guest facilities, and ancillary areas, and will consist of: i) Demolition of the existing four-storey atrium block at the corner of Harcourt Street and Cuffe Street to accommodate a new entrance and extended reception area at ground floor level, and extension of the main hotel building at existing first to sixth floor levels to provide 13 additional bedrooms. ii) Construction of a new seventh floor level on the main hotel building at Cuffe Street to provide conference rooms, restaurant, kitchen, storage, welfare facilities, and a rooftop bar with external terrace. iii) Provision of a new setback plant enclosure and sedum roof at seventh floor roof level. iv) A new five-storey atrium at the rear of Nos. 3-4 Harcourt Street to facilitate multi-level circulation routes and enhanced links to No. 5 Harcourt Street and the main hotel building on Cuffe Street. v) Internal alterations to Nos. 3-4 Harcourt Street to provide a residents' lounge at ground floor level, and nine bedrooms at first to third floor levels, together with improvement and repair works to the external and internal building fabric. vi) Removal and reinstatement of Luas related fittings on the Cuffe Street façade of the main hotel building. vii) All associated elevational changes and ancillary site works necessary to facilitate the development. The proposed development will extend the gross floor area of the main hotel building by 1,072.9 sq.m, increasing the overall GFA of the hotel to 7,064.8 sq.m.

Amendments and alterations to a previously approved scheme granted permission under DCC Reg. Ref. 2154/16 to provide for; (i) A new external glazed aluminium framed façade to the atrium block incorporating a glazed lift and overrun; (ii) Reconfiguration of the approved terraces at Third & Fourth floor level to include 2 no. external rooftop outdoor terraces and the addition of 4sqm in terrace floor area; (iii) Extension of the previously approved lift to provide universal access to the main roof terrace at Third floor level; (iv) Provision of a dumb-waiter lift to the rear of No. 4 Harcourt Street; (v) Internal alterations to No. 3 & 4 Harcourt Street to improve circulation; (vi) Works involving the removal and reinstatement of transport related fittings on the façade of the building to facilitate the Luas.
PROTECTED STRUCTURE: Permission for the following at No. 16, Harcourt Street, Dublin 2, (a Protected Structure, Dublin City Council RPS no. 3525), Mews to the rear of No. 16 Harcourt Street facing onto Montague Lane and No. 18 & No. 19 Montague Street buildings and under croft laneway associated with No. 16 Montague Street, Dublin 2. The application seeks modifications to the previously approved permission by ABP Reg. Ref. PL29S.249126 (DCC Reg. Ref. 3150/17) and Reg. Ref. ABP306760-20 (DCC Reg. Ref. 4606/19). Planning is sought for the addition of No. 18 Montague Street as part of the previously approved scheme with change of use from cafe to cafe bar and restaurant with associated upgrading works to the front facade and extension to the rear courtyard to include the incorporation of an internal fire escape stairs. All with associated signage, lighting, landscaping and associated site works.
Retention Planning permission for the development consists of the retention of 1 no. temporary marquee (24m x 9.1m) to support the ongoing edcational use of the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland. Retention permission is sought for a period of 3 years.
The development will consist of amendments to a previously granted Planning Permission Register Reference No.:2542/18 and An Bord Pleanala Reference No.: ABP-302151-18. The proposed amendments include: a.) Revised floor layouts to the ground, first, second and third floors. b.) Revised roof profile and roof lights. c.) This external signage application is in relation to a previously permitted development (Dublin City Council Reg. The development will also consist of: alterations to the permitted elevations and internal layouts; and associated alterations to the permitted plant and services ( mechanical and electrical, water supply, sewage disposal and surface water disposal).

Access will be from existing doors and limited around the north side of the cathedral by a metal railing and gates between the north transept and St Patrick's Park railings. The cathedral is a Protected Structure under the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act 1999.
PROTECTED STRUCTURE: We, the Board of St Patrick's Cathedral, intend to apply for permission for works at St Patrick's Cathedral, South Porch, St. Patrick's Close, Dublin 8 (a protected structure RPS ref. no. 6443 & 6444 and a Recorded Monument DU018-020269). The works will include the following: 1. Removal of the west-facing leaded window with clear and plain coloured glass (WD 04) in the South Porch entrance without damage and in accordance with an approved conservation method statement, to be securely stored within the cathedral grounds, and retained for use in future repair works to similar windows. 2. Installation of a new stained-glass window by the stained-glass artist Thomas Denny, to commemorate those who died, served and lived through, the global COVID-19 pandemic.
PROTECTED STRUCTURE: We, the Board of St Patrick's Cathedral, intend to apply for permission for works at St Patrick's Cathedral, Minot Tower (Toilets), St. Patrick's Close, Dublin 8 (a protected structure RPS ref. no. 6443 & 6444 and a Recorded Monument DU018-020269). The works will include the following: 1. Removal of all partitions and toilet fittings/fixtures from the disabled WC and three-cubicle unisex toilets. 2. Removal of tiled floor finish and installation of a new stone floor finish. 3. Removal of plasterboard wall linings to expose the historic masonry on the north, east and west walls, which will be finished with limewash. 4. Enclosure of the staff canteen staircase with fire-resistant partitions and fire doors. 5. Installation of four self-contained cubicles, one cleaner's store and one accessible WC and changing area, all with new fittings and fixtures. 6. Removal of modern oak and glass door assembly. 7. Removal of two steps, or recent construction to expose bases of medieval doorway and facilitate Installation of a new compliant ramp to replace the existing non-compliant ramp. 8. All new foul drainage to be connected to existing drains that run under the concrete slab, under the suspended ground floor of the Minot Tower. 9. All new extract to connect into existing ducting in the existing riser in the NW corner, that will be reduced in size.
PROTECTED STRUCTURE The works will include the following: 1) Removal of cement pointing, and re-pointing part of the external west façade in lime mortar. 2) Repair of external iron railings and stone steps, together with replacement of concrete path with stone paving. 3) Replacement of four existing non-compliant ramps, with four new compliant ramps. 4) Replacement of recently installed fixed furniture and loose screens in the north transept with new movable furniture to create a secure choristers robing area. 5) Removal of sand and cement plaster from north choir aisle and replacement with lime plaster.
