Extend the appropriate period of a permission - 15/473 - Engineering and Public Health & Safety works on a site at East Avoca Mines including (1) re-routing of existing electricity line to run underground along the access road to the east of the site and removal of the pylon located within the site (2) stabilisation, safety and drainage works at the “850 Adit” including rehabilitation and reconstruction of the entrance portal and first 30m (approximately) of the adit, provision of new gates and provision of a 750m long (approximately) drainage pipeline on the floor of the existing adit to address existing safety, structural, environment and drainage issues (3) restoration and stabilisation works to the “Ore Bins” and the adjacent crib wall to address existing structural and safety issues (4) minor protection works to the exposed portal of the “Upper Flat Rod Tunnel” adjacent to the Ore Bins to ensure earthworks in the area do not impact on its integrity or setting (5) development of a surface and underground drainage network on the road to the rear of the site and across the spoil heap to facilitate improved site drainage (6) stabilisation and re-grading of the spoil heaps and embankments, capping of the spoil heaps and landscaping works to facilitate the movement of surface water, to protect human health through the prevention of direct contact and/or airborne inhalation to minimise pollution of adjacent watercourses, and (7) ancillary site development works at the site.
