For development (for a temporary period of up to 10 years) at the Lidl Regional Distribution Centre, Littleconnell, Newbridge, Co. Kildare, W12 KT98, consisting of a School Tour Facility. The proposed development comprises: 1) The laying out of an (undeveloped) area adjoining the Distribution Centre site as a School (and related group) Tour open/visitor Farm with a series of demonstration and grazing areas and paddocks relating to fruit & vegetable growing and animal rearing; 2) The provision of 2 no. Polytunnels relating to fruit & vegetable growing and demonstration; 3) The provision of a reception building (Portakabin or similar type structure measuring c. 76 sqm); 4) Vehicular access to the site will be via the existing R445 Roundabout spur and the laying of an access road, vehicle turning area, parking area, and connection to adjoining Distribution Centre Site (for visitor tours and site management related movements only); 5) The provision of stock proof fencing throughout the site, and modification to site boundary treatments as required; and, 6) Water supply, foul sewer (rising main and associated pumping station), electrical/utilities connections to existing networks within the adjoining Distribution Centre site, and all associated and ancillary works and accommodationDecision record indexedDecision24 June 2022View record
