The proposed development area falls within the area of archaeological protection for RMP KK019-026 Historic Town, and also adjoins the Kilkenny City Wall National Monument RMP KK019-026 and the former precinct of St Johns Priory National Monument KK019-026068 and National Monument Ref 344 and 331
