The development will consist of 12no. 2 bedroom semi-detached independent living units in 6no. single storey blocks to the rear of the existing care centre, a new single storey covered walkway connecting the units to the existing care centre, a new brick outer leaf at ground floor level on the north-west and south-west corners of the existing building adjacent to unit no.1, 12 additional car parking spaces, an extended access road and all associated site works.

The development will consist of the construction of a bespoke twin slide, complete with conveyor belt and access stair, all to replace the existing timber framed slide, along with all associated services and site development works on the above.

The proposed development will consist of part demolition (c.90m2) of the applicants' existing single storey dwelling (c.160 m2), demolition of an existing shed (c.80m2), reconfiguration of the retained element of the dwelling (including an increase in height of the retained element from c.5m to c.7m), the construction of a two storey extension (with a ridge height of c.10.2 m), hard and soft landscaping works, a new packaged wastewater system and new soakaway system, modifications to the vehicular access including the installation of a gate, and all ancillary works above and below ground. When completed the dwelling will have a gross floor space of (c.415 m2).
