For development. The development will consist of the extension of the operational lifespan of a solar farm permitted by Kilkenny County Council under Planning Ref. 17/669 from 25 years as permitted (by reason of Condition No. 4 of permission Ref.17/669) to 40 No. years

For proposed works which will include a solar farm on an area of approximately 39.6 hectares, comprising photovoltaic panels on ground mounted frames, 20 no. single storey inverter/transformer stations, 1 no. onsite 38 KV substation, 2 no. steel storage containers, security fencing, CCTV and all associated ancillary development works. Elgin Energy Services Ltd, are applying for the proposed solar farm to have planning permission that is effective for 10 years (and an operational period of 30 years)

For the Proposed installation of a network connection and grid connection, and minor amendments to solar farms previously approved under planning application references 17/669 and 22/126. The proposed development will consist of the installation of a 33kV network connection between the solar farms approved under planning application references 17/669 and 22/126 comprising: c. 921m of overhead line and 9 No. wooden poles; onward connection of said approved solar farms to Ballyragget 38kV Substation by installation of a 38kV cable comprising c. 786m of underground cable and c. 395m of overhead line on 5 No. wooden poles; amendments to solar farm approved under planning reference 17/669 comprising removal of substation and replacement with solar panels; amendments to the layout of the substation approved under planning reference 22/126, and all associated site works

To construct Slatted shed with loose area and all associated site works

For new foul effluent treatment system and percolation area and all associated site works

A 10 year planning permission for a solar PV development on a ca. 13Ha Site incorporating: • Solar panels on ground-mounted frames over an area of ca. 6.5 ha, string inverters, 1 no. containerised transformer unit, post and wire fencing, CCTV system with 4 no. pole mounted cameras and landscaping; • Underground electrical cables connecting the solar PV development to existing onsite substation. Proposed extension to existing onsite substation of 51.3sqm; • A temporary construction compound; and, • All associated ancillary site development works. The Site is located within the boundary of an Industrial Emissions Licensed facility regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency, Licence number P0359-03.
