RETENTION: PROTECTED STRUCTURE: The development consists of amendments to the previously approved planning permission, register reference 2072/17 comprising (a) Alterations to the basement layout and the reduction of the gross floor area of the basement by 332 sqm. (b) Alterations to the position of the Staff Accommodation Unit and the increase in the gross floor area of the Staff Accommodation Unit by 5 sqm. (c) Alterations to the position of the Garden Pavilion.
An amendment to a previously approved development under Reg. Ref. 3953/23, which provided for the renovation and extension of an existing dwelling and all associated hardscaping, landscaping and development works necessary to facilitate the development. The amendment proposed seeks the omission of Condition No. 9 as attached to the Planning Authority’s decision issued under Reg. Ref. 3953/23.
The development will consist of minor alterations to the planning application granted under Reg. Ref. 4659/23 which allowed for the provision of a new 3m vehicular entrance and revised boundary treatment at 32 Ailesbury Road. The amendments proposed include: (i) modifications to the as approved vehicular entrance arrangement along the southern boundary to now include 1.550m high entrance gates, bound by 1.850m high stone block piers; (ii) modifications to the approved southern boundary treatment including the omission of the previously approved stone plinth, stone pier and steel railings to now allow for the existing 1.250m high textured concrete block wall with concrete capping to be retained. PERMISSION:The development consists of the removal of the existing vehicular entrance off Ailesbury Road and modifications to the boundary treatment to provide for a new 3m vehicular entrance and revised boundary treatment comprised of new painted steel railings on granite base and new stone piers. The proposal also includes all the other associated ancillary works necessary to facilitate the development.
The development consists of: Internal and external works to facilitate the renovation of an existing dwelling and provide for residential extensions and alterations to landscaping. (iii) the attic level extension will provide for 89sqm of non-habitable attic space for storage and 1 no. new flat-roofed dormer window to front elevation, to match adjoining dwelling at No. 34 Ailesbury Road: (iv) The proposal comprises alterations to the roof profile to facilitate the development of the extensions including (a) the provision of 1 no. roof light to the rear and 3 no. flat roof sections to the front, rear, and side including the flat roof over dormer window at attic level, (v) and all associated facade and external works, including the provision of new windows, doors, and opes, necessary to facilitate the alterations and extensions proposed. 3) Permission is also sought for (i) widening of the existing vehicular entrance off Ailesbury Road and installation of new brick piers (to match existing), and new entrance gates to accommodate 3 no. car parking spaces and (ii) hardscape and landscape works to the rear to facilitate private open space. 4) The proposal also includes all other associated engineering works, landscaping, and ancillary works necessary to facilitate the development.
PROTECTED STRUCTURE: Permission is sought for modifications to the previously permitted application Register Reference 4366/19 for installation of an internal disabled access lift serving the basement, ground floor and 1st floor rear return. It is proposed to install a smaller lift in a different location within the existing rear return. It is also proposed to paint the render finishes to the rear elevation walls.
PROTECTED STRUCTURE: The development will consist of installation of an internal disabled access lift serving the basement, ground floor and 1st floor rear return; removal of the existing glazed roof to the 1st floor rear return and replacement with a pitched slated roof; conversion of a living room to a bedroom, conversion of a bedroom to an accessible bathroom, and construction of a timber framed gazebo to the rear garden.

PROTECTED STRUCTURE: Permission for development of a single storey mews building within the rear garden of the property at mulberry, 27 Ailesbury Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 D04V2H6 (a Protected Structure), the proposed mews development will include: 1. The construction of a new single - storey mews building within the rear garden to accommodate a garden store and home gym. 2. The mews will be constructed using materials to match the existing house, including matching brickwork and selected copper roof, consistent with the finish of the existing house extension, to ensure architectural integration and minimal visual impact. PROTECTED STRUCTURE: planning permission is sought for the construction of a part single storey, part two-storey residential extension to the rear of the existing protected structure. PROTECTED STRUCTURE: RETENTION & PERMISSION: The development consists of the retention of a single storey rear extension and retention of a rear extension spiral staircase and platform that connects the upper ground floor with the lower ground floor and garden. Retention is also sought for the conversion of car port to the side that includes new internal wall layout and new doors set-back to the front. The development also includes new works that will include the removal of the non-original aluminium framed sun room and its replacement with a new sunroom on same footprint and ancillary works above the car port to the side of the house at upper ground floor level.
The development will consist of the following: (ii) Modification to existing brick piers including the addition of natural granite to the existing brick piers to either side of the vehicular access opening and a new brick pier with granite detailing to the south side of the pedestrian access opening. (ii) The removal of the existing painted steel gates to the vehicular and pedestrian access and replacement with new taller steel gates to both openings. (iii) The addition of a decorative painted steel railing to the top of the existing boundary wall to the road, so providing a height of c.2.05 metres from the footpath level to the top of proposed railing.
PERMISSION & RETENTION The proposed development for planning permission will consist of: (a) Installation of 16 no. floodlighting poles with lamps - 12 no. 18 metre high - 6 no. to the main rugby pitch and 6 no. to training pitch, and 4 no. 8 metre high to the proposed 5-a-side pitch - to replace the existing 4 no. 16 metre high poles with lamps and 5 no. 12 metre high poles with lamps on the site; (b) Construction of 4 no. roofed technical areas - 2 no. on the western side of the main rugby pitch and 2 no. on the southern side of the training pitch; (c) Installation of ball stop netting on 12 metre and 14 metre high poles on the western and southern sides of the main rugby pitch and on the southern, western and eastern sides of the training pitch; (d) Amendments to the development as approved under Register Reference 2257/20 comprising the redesign of the surface car parking layouts in the northern, eastern and south eastern areas of the site and the enlargement of the ESB substation, switchroom and bin storage building adjacent to the eastern boundary; (e) Construction of 3 no. utility shed buildings in the northern, south eastern and south western corners of the site; (f) Installation of 2.15 metre high sliding security gate at the entrance to the site; and (g) Increase in the height of the 2 metre high fencing enclosing 5-a-side (artificial surface) pitch in the south eastern area of site to 4 metres. The development for retention permission consists of the retention of a 5-a-side (artificial surface) pitch in the south eastern area of site enclosed by a 2 metre high fence.
The development will consist of the demolition of the existing clubhouse building and ancillary structures and the construction of a new 2 storey clubhouse building comprising changing rooms, 2 no. referee rooms, treatment room, kit and store rooms, multi-purpose room, bar, kitchen, storage and toilets at ground floor level, and gymnasium, changing rooms, physiotherapy suite, bar/lounge, kitchen, offices, storage, toilets, staff accommodation and recessed plant room at first floor level, installation of solar PV panels on roof.
PROTECTED STRUCTURE: the development will consist of (i) demolition of non-original single-storey extension to rear of existing semi-detached dwelling; (ii) alteration of non-original two-storey extension to the rear including replacing the pitched roof with a new flat roof, providing a new rooflight, enlarging the existing windows and providing a new window to the side at entry floor level; (iii) alteration and part-removal of non-original and original walls and floor structure to rear return at lower-ground floor and entry floor levels to accommodate new stairs from lower ground to entry level; (iv) construction of new flat roof single-storey extension to rear, including rooflights and canopies; (v) provision of a new window to the side (west) at lower ground floor level; (vi) internal alterations at lower ground floor to include new internal walls in existing kitchen/dining area and reintroduction of original internal wall and door to the exiting front room; (vii) internal alterations at first floor to include provision of new internal walls in existing front bathroom to form an en-suite and wardrobe, closing up of 2no. doorways off landing, alteration of the existing en-suite in the back bedroom to form an enlarged family bathroom accessed off the hall; (vii) provision of new walls at second floor level of the existing return to form a bedroom and en-suite; (viii) alterations to guest house at rear of site to include; removal of chimney lowering and widening of cills of front windows and rendering of stone walls externally. The proposal also includes all associated landscaping, boundary treatment, site and engineering works necessary to facilitate the development.
A) The addition of a new single-story garden room with pitched roof with parapet wall to the side/rear of the existing property, b) other works as part of development including; SuDS drainage, landscaping, boundary treatments and all associated works necessary to facilitate the development.
Planning Permission for minor alterations to previously granted permissions under Reg. Ref. 2766/19 and Reg. Ref. 4171/19 at 'Clonmore' No. 15A Shrewsbury Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 (D04 R3K1).
