The proposed development will consist of a part single and part two storey SAR helicopter hangar of 1,984.4 sq.m FGA to accommodate 2 no. helicopters, maintenance store, workshop and facilities, operations rooms and offices, staff kitchen and accommodation for on shift personnel. The hangar facility will also facilitate maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activities for SAR helicopters only. A single-storey structure of 48.9 sq.m GFA facilitating ESB substation, switch room, and security room is also proposed. Permission is also sought for airside infrastructure comprising apron area to connect with existing apron, refuelling areas, service access area and a subdivided fenced compound to accommodate airside SAR support vehicles. The landside subdivision of the fenced compound will house a generator and water tank for firefighting purposes. Also proposed is the reconfiguration of existing emergency airside access from the R403 Celbridge Road to facilitate a dual emergency (airside) access route; pedestrian footpath and access to the proposed development; 20 no. car parking spaces including EV charging and disabled parking provision; 17 no. bicycle parking spaces; watermain and drainage works including foul pump station and rising main; landscaping including paving, planting, earth mounding, and SuDs, SAR facility wall-mounted signage, fencing and all associated site development works on a site area of 2.1112 Ha.

THIS APPLICATION RELATES TO DEVELOPMENT WITHIN THE ADAMSTOWN STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT ZONE (SDZ) AND IS SUBJECT TO THE ADAMSTOWN PLANNING SCHEME 2014, AS AMENDED. Hugh McGreevy & Sons Ltd and Tierra Ltd. intend to apply for planning permission for amendments to the Phase 2 residential development permitted under Reg. Ref.: SDZ19A/0008, as amended under Reg. The site is otherwise in an area that is surrounded to the east by the expansive Airlie Park, to the south, by the existing housing at Aderrig Grove, Aderrig Lawn and Aderrig Park Avenue. To the west of the area of permitted public open space lies the Celbridge Link Road. The development consists of the construction of a Primary School (32 no. Classroom), ranging in height from 2 and to 3 storey's, including a corner feature element at the junction of Airlie Park Road West and Shackleton Street; a new vehicular access off Shackleton Street opposite Airlie Park is proposed to serve the school; together with ancillary site development and landscape works. This application is being made in accordance with the Adamstown Planning Scheme 2014, as amended, and relates to a proposed development within the Adamstown Strategic Development Zone Planning Scheme Area, as defined by Statutory Instrument No. 272 of 2001. The Celbridge Link Road permitted under SDZ17A/0009 bounds the site to the west and the north-south road to the eastern boundary (referred to as Linear Park Road) was permitted under SDZ20A/0017. 17 spaces were permitted under SDZ17A/0009 providing a total of 378 spaces for this development.
The application is being made in accordance with the Adamstown Planning Scheme 2014 (as amended) and relates to proposed amendments to Phase 3 of development within the Aderrig Development Area of the Adamstown Strategic Development Zone. The amendments are proposed to the previously permitted residential development (Reg. Ref. SDZ22A/0014, Aderrig Phase 3) and principally include the introduction of a northbound bus stop and associated shelter and infrastructure north of the junction of permitted Road 9 and the Celbridge Link Road.
