The proposed works are: The removal of render, the repointing of the street elevation, render repairs in lime to gable and rear elevation, the reinstatement of the ground floor shop window configuration to historic known type, the reinstatement of a hipped roof and the rebuilding of chimneystack. Structural repairs to façade.
The development will consist of the erection of new double sided, internally illuminated projecting wall mounted signage and roller door signage to Arran Street East elevation. Internally illuminated above door and roller door signage to Mary's Abbey elevation and large wall mural signage to East elevation of no, 13. Mary's Abbey.
The development will consist of the change of use of the existing vacant building from office use to hotel and bar use, to include: (1) Provision of 57 hotel bedrooms, (2) Provision of bar at ground floor level accessed from Dame Court, (3) The lowering of the ground floor level locally to facilitate the provision of a new universal/disabled hotel entrance on the Dame Lane elevation, (4) Provision of new signage to Dame Court and Dame Lane elevations, (5) Installation of new lift, (6) Formation of new door ope at first floor level in the rear (east) elevation to facilitate fire escape, (7) Formation of new door ope at ground floor level in the rear (south) elevation to facilitate fire escape, (8) Formation of 2no. window opes at first and second floor level in the rear (south) elevation, (9) Replacement of 2no. existing doors with new windows at first and second floor level in the rear (south) elevation, (10) Construction of new 2.4m high louvred screen at first floor level to rear south elevation, (11) All internal modifications, repair works, site and services works to facilitate the development.

(e) Addition of "digital ticker tape" above ground floor windows on Henry Street and Coles Lane. (f - h) Replacement of a permitted 2no. digital screens and 2no. light boxes on Henry Street with a wall mounted lightbox (3000mm W by 2000mm H) on Henry Street with 2no. larger dimensions wall mounted digital screens (3000mm W x 2000mm H) and a wall mounted retail media screen (900mm W). (i) on Coles Lane replacement of vinyl with 2no. wall mounted lightbox (2000mm W x 2000mm H) with one displaying 'Everlast Gyms +' operator name. (j) Internally illuminated linear SportsDirect (red and blue) logo applied to both sides of existing signage fin (5622mm H x 580mm W) on Henry Street replacing the black and white signage previously permitted. (k) Addition of a transparent teal vinyl on the vertical window on Coles Lane, with white decal 'GREATNESS IS WITHIN' over top. (l) Teal LED goalpost strip lighting around entrance to Everlast Gyms on Coles (m) Teal semi - transparent window covering applied to glazing. Teal linear LED strip light hung horizontally at top of glazing. (n) RAL 7016 opaque vinyl applied to glazing to windows on Coles Lane. (o) on Coles Lane, opaque vinyl to be applied to glazing. This will include seasonal displays which may include advertising of products (14030mm W and 2750mm H). This generally replaces permitted signage, light boxes and vinyl coverings. (p-q) revised treatment at ground level, corner, entrance to include internally illuminated USC sign above door (830mm W x 830mm H) and trapezoidal aluminium external cladding in RAL 7016 (30% gloss). Internally illuminated third party brand logos fret cut in cladding either side of entrance. (r-s) on the upper floor glazed, corner display window, red or blue semi-transparent window covering applied to window externally. Red or blue internal uplighters. The previously permitted signage in this area remains unchanged. All works associated and required to complete the proposed amendments.
PROTECTED STRUCTURE: Planning permission for development on a 0.11 ha site approximately located at Nos. 16-18 Lord Edward Street (a protected structure) and No. 18 Exchange Street Upper (known as ''Fashion House'') and Copper Alley, Dublin 2. The proposed development comprises minor amendment to the Parliament Hotel (permitted under DCC Reg. Ref. 3448/16, as amended by DCC Reg. Refs. 4521/17, 3280/18, 2525/19) and includes additional plant screening to Parliament Roof to match material of permitted plant screen, 3no. street level painted metal out of hours security screens at Lord Edward Street entrances, 2no. canopies to Fashion House fifth floor terrace, relocation of 2no. existing flag poles to Parliament building at first floor level to corner of Lord Edward Street and Exchange Street Upper and 2no. timber louvered panels within external door on Copper Alley towards Cow's Lane painted to match door finish.
PROTECTED STRUCTURE: Development on a 0.11 ha site approximately. The proposed development comprises of a low-poly wire frame sculptural artwork installation in the form of 4 simplified figures of approximate dimensions 3.2 m (H) x 3m (W) x 2m (D) in total fixed 0.4 m above the roof of the existing link bridge which connects the 2 buildings over Copper Alley along with laser cut decorative anodized bronze metalwork screens fixed to and covering the entirety of both sides of the link bridge.
The development will consist of the change of use of retail/café floorspace to gymnasium (c. 2,559 sq m) at third floor level and including internal alterations at ground level floor to accommodate the provision of a new entrance to Cole Lanes, an entrance lobby, bicycle parking and circulation areas (c. 118 sq m). The development will also include: the removal of the existing glazing system, bulkhead, canopy and alcove entrance and replacement with extended height glazing, a new entrance doorset, and new emergency access at ground level on Henry Street; the provision of new aluminium external cladding (including associated signage) to the existing main entrance at ground floor level to the south-east of the site, at the junction of Henry Street and Coles Lane; the removal and replacement of ancillary plant equipment at roof level; the provision of LED window lighting and all ancillary above and below ground.
CHANGE OF USE: change of use of the ground and first floors to a safe haven space for the LGBTQ community and for replacement of the pitched roof with a flat roof and construction of parapet wall to the rear of the property.
